Cha cha cha Chia .. Truck!
We’ve all heard of the Chia Pet. Well now I’m introducing to you the Chia Truck! That’s right folks! No longer the small little cute ceramic plants on your windowsill. Now you can have your very own full size International Truck in your yard to impress your friends and family with your gardening skills! Little will they know it took you nothing to grow, just park it and abandon it and avoid any type of landscaping and Wallah! A beautiful decorative Truck! You will be the envy of the neighborhood!
All kidding aside, this photo of the abandoned truck will be the start of a photography project my daughter and I have begun and will announce soon. It is so fun to be able to get out of the house and shoot with my daughter! My wife, the chauffeur, however has to drive us around since I still can’t drive. She’s been a good sport about it though. I’m actually trying to get her to pick up my old T3 and start shooting. She’s gonna cave eventually!
Thanks for visiting today! It’s almost Friday folks!
I’m not in the best mood today. This is the third straight day I’ve been laid up from my pain. Unable to walk. Yet, for almost 2 weeks prior to this, I was walking fine and enjoying life. Less than a month to go until I can see the rheumatologist, who hopefully can provide some sort of relief. It’s been a frustrating wait for someone who is not a very patient patient.
Anyways, before this wave of pain hit me, I was out shooting architecture shots this past Sunday for a client when I drove past this scene and had to pull over to get some pics of it.
I was up north of Pittsburgh somewhere in the middle of Butler county with my wife navigating when we spotted this odd view of several trees appearing to be growing on little islands in the middle of a pond on a farm. At least this time I didn’t give her whiplash when I cranked the wheel and hit the brakes to pull over!
Hope everyone has a great day!
Today, I’m going to stay with another Macro photo. I want to wish my wonderful wife a Happy Valentine’s Day! She was the one who picked up these flowers so that I could shoot something after my spill this past weekend. This Rose is for her! Love you babe!
I hope everyone has a great Valentines Day!
The title of this post is from J.R.R. Tolkien. It seemed fitting for this shot.
I was just wandering around a local lake in the woods before sunrise when I took this shot. I didn’t see anyone and the only thing I could hear were geese on the lake and the wind in the trees. It was a bit creepy yet really peaceful at the same time.
Just a quick post this morning because I’m going to be heading back out shooting all day with my new 7D. I feel like a kid with a new toy! This things a Beast! Decided to spend some of my tax return this year on this, and am glad I did. There’s a little bit of a learning curve, but not too bad being I was using a T3 prior.
I went out this morning hoping a for a nice sunrise, but mother nature was not cooperating. I did wind up getting a few nice shots, but it wasn’t as colorful as I was hoping for. I took a few shots around this area I was going to and found that I was actually trespassing! Good thing the owner wasn’t around or maybe wasn’t awake!
More to come!
