Rich McPeek is a published documentary photographer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania whose work focuses on life. Human, wildlife, and nature.
He has been making photographs since the mid 1980's focusing then on what he saw on the streets. Before he even knew the term "Street Photography" he was making 35mm black and white photographs of scenes and people that interested him on his Pentax K1000 camera in the streets of the City of Pittsburgh. Thanks to his parents he had his own home darkroom and did all his own developing back then himself.
Today, he shoots mostly digital and is currently working on several different photography projects.
Rich also photographs wildlife, portraits, and weddings in the documentary journalistic style.
