Top of the Falls

Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine was alright. Not too exciting, but none are lately. For today’s shot, I’m sharing a shot of the rapids above the Ohiopyle State Park Waterfall on the  Youghiogheny  River.

I’ve seen many pics of these falls, most from the other side of the river. You can see from this shot where many folks stand on the overlooks and get shots of this. On this occasion, we made it across the river onto the Ferncliff Natural Area Peninsula and onto a trail along the river. It provided for some really exceptional shots that I will share more of in the future.
