My Girls

I’m so tired of talking about my health situation, but it has had a few pluses. It forces me to stay home and not go out and shoot new material. Hence, I wind up sitting at the computer processing photos that are long overdue to be done.

For today’s rare “Sunday” post, since everyone is still asleep, I wanted to put up a couple shots I took of two of the most important women in my life. My Wife and my Mom. This had to be done before they could see them and say “I hate that pic of me. Don’t put that up!” Ooops. Too Late! I shot these with my new 50mm 1.8 lens that my friend Chris sent to me because he no longer has his Canon. What an amazing little lens! The clarity is fantastic! Thanks Chris!ย These were both taken at the Mr. Rogers Memorial on the North Shore in Pittsburgh.

First off, we have the love of my life. My Wife. My soul mate. The woman who deserves better than ME! I just asked her to smile and started shooting. I think this one worked out the best.

This next shot is of my Mother. The most patient person in the WORLD! How she has put up with me all these years I’ll never know. She’s one tough lady to have raised myself, little brother, and sister.

I Love them both with all my heart and soul and don’t know what I’d do without their support and encouragement all these years. In regards to the photos ladies, sorry if you don’t like them. I Love Them! So tough!
